On the morning of the 17th of July 2009, Fdesign.co,za, a web design and graphic design company based in Cape Town, went to the number 1 position for the search phrase “web design cape town” on Google. This is a result of a few months of research and trial and error using a variety of SEO techniques, mostly on-page ones, so the result is not purely through some major link back scheme. We focused mainly on the use of title tags and anchor text links, as well as a few other options that seem to have worked for them.
